Salty

This 11-pound 4-year-old chihuahua mix is a very special little soul. She is the first one to jump on our laps as soon as we sit down in the shelter but it takes her a minute to warm up to new people. She is never mean, never grumpy but is pretty scared of the World. She has a playful spirit and loves to be part of the action. We know she will be an amazing companion to someone who will show her the love she has never had in her short life. We are rooting for this little Trooper. 

Salty comes to us from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. She and many of her other friends here at Little Trooper Ranch were "owner surrenders".
