Piglet - Adopted!

Second time’s a charm for precious Piglet! We are so happy for this most deserving puppy and for his new family! They all scored.

Our little guy is back at LTR.  Piglet was born with the sweetest disposition; he’s a very special puppy and we will find a very special home. He’s now 4.5 months old.  His mom was 12 pounds and he was the runt so we don’t expect him to be over 12 pounds.

He’s so precious. His hair is kinda scratchy; it’s been like this since the day he was born. His coloring is a little bizarre too but his heart is so big and so lovely, it’s impossible not to love him.  We’re working on his housebreaking, he’s catching on quickly.

Piggy is feeling less heartbroken and confused now and we’re happy to have him back.

If you’re looking for a non-destructive, gentle puppy who’s eager to please, this is him. While the other pups were biting, chewing and being wild, like puppies do, Piglet was off sunbathing or lying outside watching dragonflies.

He's making up for lost time. Piglet was born the runt, but he will be the first to show you that mighty beings can come in tiny packages. Piglet was bottle fed a little bit in the beginning because he was not always strong enough to power through his siblings to reach the food so we supplemented to help Piglet and his mama. Now that he’s a big strong tiny puppy, he needs no help at all and he loves to play and wrestle with his much bigger siblings. He’s affectionate but not needy and he’s the cutest thing you’ve ever seen. He’s still around 2 pounds at 8 weeks of age and his mom is around 11 pounds. We don’t know the dad but we do know that Piglet is a very special little trooper.
