Peanut - Adopted!!
Peanut came to us in horrible pain. We don’t know how her eye injury occurred or why her massive hernia was never repaired but her teeth were also a mess so our expert medical team went to work to fix her up.
After the recovery, Peanut’s personality emerged and we all fell in love. But there are a lot of dogs here at LTR, and Peanut is more into people. She hoped for a home where she would be the center of attention and her dream came true.
It’s better than any of us dreamed, actually. Peanut's new mom is a "dream mama." We’re grateful to be part of this beautiful little miracle.

My name is Peanut. I’ve had a tough life. I was recently rescued with a badly damaged (and extremely painful) eye and a massive hernia. My friends at Little Trooper Ranch removed my painful eye, repaired my hernia, spayed me and mended my broken heart. They love me so much and I’m finally free to be me. I’m no longer existing in agony. I love life, I’ve found my personality and I’m ready for my forever home!
They think I’m around 10 years and I’m only 8 pounds. I have so much love to give. I’d like nothing more than to be with my human all the time. I love humans and I get along well with most dogs.
I am a very special girl. If you can love me unconditionally and care for me forever, I’m ready to be yours.
