Twinkles - Adopted!

Twinkles is safe and loved and will never be in a shelter again.  We found her facing a grave ending after a month at the Martinez shelter and we drove south to get her. After moving to LTR, she underwent major surgery to fix a badly infected mouth and to remove her uterus. Next she went to a warm cozy loving foster home and now this lucky little dog has found her wonderful forever home.  A difficult road, but with a very happy ending for our little girl.  This is why we do what we do.

We recently emancipated little Twinkles from an East Bay shelter where she was treated like pure gold, but her time was up.  We think she’s around 13 years old and she barely weighs 6 pounds. She was too scared to eat much at the shelter so we are working on getting some weight on her.

Twinkles is affectionate, housebroken and could use a quiet warm home for her retirement. We are cleaning her teeth soon, but she can move to her new home anytime.
