Tinkerbell - Adopted!

We’ve had our first Christmas miracle here at Little Trooper Ranch. Tinkerbell found the most amazing home! They are willing to be patient so that she can warm up at her own pace. She’s a pretty nervous little dog... we were hoping someone super special would come along and they sure did. Nothing shy of a Christmas miracle - and we know they will love Tinkerbell.

Meet our mother of the year!  Tinkerbell had three puppies here at Little Trooper Ranch after a stressful move from the home where she was living with 56 other dogs. One of her three puppies is a special needs guy by the name of Werewolf. Tinkerbell paid extra attention to her special puppy while we shared the load to ensure Werewolf’s survival. She became extra bonded to this little guy and was supposed to be adopted with him, but the people changed their minds when they arrived and adopted another puppy instead.

It took her a while to trust humans and she still needs a little bit of extra time and understanding, since she’s been under-socialized for most of her young life.  She loves to sit in the laps of our volunteers and she still enjoys time with her other two pups.  She’s only 7 pounds and we’re guessing she’s around 1 year old.
