Roxy - Adopted!

Sometimes we ask the universe to find an extra special person for one of our extra special dogs and sometimes (all the time actually), the universe delivers.



Roxy needs a patient person and a quiet home and this is exactly what she has now. We could not be happier for our most nervous little soul. Love is always the answer.

This sweetheart came to us from the only home she’s known. For some reason, she decided she wanted a different home, a peaceful one to be specific. Roxy actually ran away for 3.5 weeks and miraculously survived. She was being picked on by their other dog and was very nervous in her action filled environment. She‘s super-shy at first but warms up eventually and then wants all the snuggles she can get. Roxy is very nervous around men - we are working on that - but potential adopters should know this upfront. 

Roxy is just 4 years old and just 5 pounds. She gets along great with the other dogs in our cage-free shelter and is warming up to all of our volunteers. We’ll get her up to date on vaccines and she's just had a full dental, but she’s ready to go home anytime now. As you can see in her photos, her tail is always wagging.
