Rain - Adopted!

Rain is now “Rainey Jean” and she 5 humans, two dogs and a cat to show her the world! She was adopted by friends and supporters of Little Trooper Ranch so we will be sending an update or two when she grows into a bigger fluffball! We are so very happy for Rainey Jean!

Rain feels more like a rabbit than a puppy. Her coat is thick, kinda curly and super soft. Mom is a short haired 10 pound chihuahua mix but Dad must have had some long curly hair (we don't know who or what he is).  Rain is still just 4 weeks old but we know she’s super chill and loves to be held.  Since we don’t know anything about dad, fullgrown size and other characteristics may be a bit of guesswork at this point.

Please note that these puppies were born on November 30, 2021, and they must stay with their mother until eight weeks after that date.  We will accept applications on them prior to their eight-week birthday, but they won't be available to go to their new homes until January 25, 2022.
