Olivia - Adoption Pending

No more applications, please.  We've received a lot of great ones - thank you!  We're working our way through them.

Calling all Yorkie Whisperers! We got a call from SF/SPCA a few months ago about a shut-down, extremely fearful Yorkie girl, asking us if we could help. Well, if it’s not obvious, we have a soft spot for little ones with troubled pasts, and so of course we said yes. Olivia has been living with a wonderful foster family who has really worked wonders with her, and provided a safe and trustful environment.

Olivia does a happy dance when her foster mom comes home, follows her everywhere, takes food from an open hand, and is very treat-motivated. She does get along with the resident dog and has become friends with the household cats. We’re thinking Olivia might be best in a home where she is the only dog (for her trust-building) but there could be an argument for having a gentle, quiet furry friend present who can help her feel comfortable as well. Can you be a hero for Olivia?
