Meg - Adopted!

We LOVE IT when this happens!  Meg and one of her pups get their own 3 acre yard to play in, just a few miles from us! We miss Meg so much but it warms our hearts to know she is already loved in her new home, together with her puppy Scout. This is the joy in rescue.

Our mother of the year!  Meg is the toughest, sweetest, and most loving dog. After making her way to us from Kern County, she had a tough delivery which ended in a life-saving c-section for Meg and her 6 puppies on a Sunday evening, October 22nd. Since that day, she has been a seriously dedicated mama to her massive puppies. Meg has the most expressive eyes and we're not sure what she will weigh when the pups are weaned; probably around 12 pounds. She loves to walk and run but mostly she loves to be with her puppies and her favorite humans, doing whatever.  She gets along well with all of the other dogs at LTR.
