Maverick - Adopted!

Maverick could not possibly have found a better home. He has a human mom with a ton of experience with shy fearful small dogs. She understands that it may take some time before Maverick can build up the courage to trust a new person but she’s willing to let him adjust at his own pace. He has a chihuahua sister who already loves him. It’s the ideal home for this little guy, we are so happy for him!

This is the World's best dog dad. Maverick is very shy and nervous but is sweet as can be. He needs a patient home that will let him come out of his shell in his own time. He loves belly rubs and to be held. He seeks attention but is nervous when he gets it. He is bonded to his foster mom so we know he will bond to you too, he just needs some time in a quiet home of his very own. He comes from chaos but that doesn't stop him from helping Mama Goose to care for their two puppies. He always knows where his puppies are and is ready to come to their defense if they are scared. 

Maverick comes to us from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. He and many of his other friends here at Little Trooper Ranch were "owner surrenders".
