Mandy - Adopted!

Mandy has a new family!

Sometimes the world surprises us with kindness. This amazing couple has been involved in animal advocacy and rescue for decades and now Mandy has landed in their care. It’s a dream come true for a senior girl with some age related health issues.

Animal rescue is not easy, but happenings like this remind us that we are on the right path.

PUPDATE!  We've replaced the first three pictures of Mandy so you can see her now after her groom (Thank you, Katy, of Wine Country Grooming!).  That 4th pic is left up here as a reminder of how she looked when she first came to us.  We love these transformations right before our very eyes!

Mandy is probably a Yorkie but we think she’s also part Chewbacca. At 12 years and 12 pounds, this little girl needs some TLC. She was not properly groomed when she came to us but she will be just gorgeous when we get her all cleaned up and properly groomed. She’s very affectionate and sweet. She also gets along well with other dogs. She arrived at the shelter with her two sisters after their mom died but she will do well on her own or with one of her sisters. She just needs a stable home to enjoy the many years she has left to share with you!

Mandy will be spayed and fully vaccinated prior to adoption.
