Bernadette - Adopted!

One day you could be on a filthy crowded truck headed to be slaughtered at a meat market in China and a couple of months later you’re heading to your very own waterfront property on the US Pacific Coast. All it took was a couple dozen miracles, as many animal rights activists, pilots, drivers, quarantine workers, many many humans and donors and a lot of love.
Bernadette is loving being a California girl.

If you’re looking for a tiny Saint Bernard with three legs from China then you have come to the right place! This amazing affectionate adorable energetic sweet young dog is a complete dream!  She came from our parters at Slaughterhouse Survivors in Harbin China and we don’t know how she lost her front left leg but she does not seem to miss it!

Bernadette is about 3 years old and seems to be housebroken, she’s great with all other dogs and humans as far as we can tell.  She’s only 11 pounds and has a beautiful soft coat and the dreamiest face!  She will melt your heart. 💜
