Bella Bardot - Adopted!

And look how happy she is in her new home!  It was another bittersweet day at LTR. We will miss Bella Bardot but we are so thrilled for her. Things were not looking good when she was dumped at a crowded pound, pregnant and scared. Luckily, things turned around when we found her. We love you Bella!

Bella is a young energetic mama who had her puppies in the shelter, where she stayed for over two months. We found her with one remaining puppy so we scooped both of them up and she may be the most grateful dog we've had yet. She immediately did zoomies in our cage-free shelter and could not get enough of the yard and fields here at LTR.

Bella seems to like all other dogs and all humans. She barks at new people but warms up as soon as she knows they are not a threat. She would make an amazing guard dog because her (infrequent) bark sounds like a 100-pound dog but she is only 25 pounds. Bella doesn't roam and stays close to her human guardian, but she does love to run at top speed with the other little troopers. She's smart and she loves affection.
