TEDDY & PADDINGTON
Teddy and Paddington have relocated to the care of our friends at Muttville Rescue in San Francisco. We are grateful to Muttville for helping these adorable boys, and are confident that this move will expose them to more potential adoption opportunities. Teddy (now Noble)- est.12 yrs, 8 lbs
This sweet little gentleman has so much love for life and for food. I think food is his all-time favorite everything. He will pick up just anything resembling food in the barnyard so I'm always keeping a close eye on him and his appetite. He also loves to sleep next to his human and take rides in the truck. We think he's about 10 years old but he and his brother Paddington have some catching up to do. You see, they were abandoned after their mom died from covid, and were left to fend for themselves for 4 months until we found out about them and dropped everything to swoop them up. Their home was not the best to begin with, they didn't even know their names which were not nice names anyway. Sweet souls deserve sweet names. Teddy has had an extensive dental cleaning and still has some teeth to chew all the things he tries to eat. He and his brother are the perfect little pair, the easiest dogs you will ever have.
Paddington (now Barnes) - est 14 yrs, 9 lbs
This is difficult for me to write. I want to tell you that he bites, pees on everything, is impossible to pick up, and has an intense offensive odor but that would all be lies. Lies so that he can stay with me forever. Sadly I must let him go since I already have a home filled with rescued dogs and he deserves to be the center of your universe, along with his brother Teddy. Paddington had most of his teeth pulled because he was in such bad shape when we found him. His hair was matted horribly and after the dental surgery, he ended up somehow breaking his lower jaw. The lower jaw bone is so thin on these little guys. His jaw was weakened by the necessary removal of the rotting teeth and one day I came home to find him with a bleeding broken jaw. It is healing but he must only eat very soft food. He gets some separation anxiety because he and Teddy were all alone for four months and they didn't receive much love in their lives. They've never experienced real love until now so Paddington worries when he doesn't know where I am. I take them almost everywhere with me but Paddington gets a little stressed in the truck. He gets better every day. We think he's around 10 years old but we know for sure that he is perfect.
